Recently, the 2025 "Sodium-Ion Battery Industry Chain and Standards Development Forum" concluded successfully in Weihai, Shandong Province. As a key participant and technological driver in the sodium-ion battery sector, Allgrand Group dispatched Zhao Changfeng, Vice President of its Research Institute, to attend the forum on behalf of the group. He delivered a keynote speech themed R&D Progress of Sodium-Ion Batteries for Energy Storage, profoundly sharing the latest achievements and forward-looking insights of Allgrand in the technological R&D and industrial application of sodium-ion batteries.

During the keynote speech session, Vice President of Allgrand Group's Research Institute systematically introduced the group's technical routes, R&D progress, and practical application cases in sodium-ion batteries for energy storage. He pointed out that sodium-ion batteries, leveraging their core advantages such as high safety, wide temperature range, and long cycle life, have demonstrated tremendous market potential in scenarios including energy storage, backup power supplies, and low-speed electric vehicles. Through continuous technological breakthroughs, the prismatic laminated sodium-ion batteries produced by Allgrand have been widely applied in the fields of energy storage and backup power supplies, providing strong support for driving the commercialization of sodium-ion batteries.

In addition, Allgrand Group has also deeply participated in the formulation of two national standards: Technical Specifications for Sodium-Ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Electrical Energy Storage Systems and Safety Technical Specifications for Sodium-Ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Electrical Energy Storage Systems, demonstrating the Allgrand’s technical accumulation and industry responsibility in standardization development.
The sodium-ion battery industry is currently in a critical window period of transformation from technical demonstration to large-scale application. Allgrand Group stated that in the future, it will continue to increase R&D investment, actively participate in industry standard development and industrial collaboration, and contribute Allgrand’s strength to promoting the maturation and internationalization of the sodium-ion battery industry.
